Material has adjacent pycnidia of Diplodia.. is there a connection? Paraphyses green in Melzers, again thin and cylindrical when young but maturing to be brown with swollen apex, catenately swollen(ampullaceous) and terminating with layer of red granular material. NB ICMP isolate may possibly be a co-located contaminant. Sequence comes out in Rhytidhysteron - unsurprisingly
